Achmid, you are so lucky to get 2 Brilliants at that cost...
Achmid [del] tojkhtong1 [del]
Yeah I certainly wasn't complaining, now I just need to hope I can afford it.
cometer [del] toAchmid [del]
main coach - brilliant 60,280 p/w
assistants - formidable 17,440 p/w
- excellent 14,600 p/w
- excellent 13,000 p/w
youth coach - magical 59,840 p/w
That's my coaching staff, assistants aren't great, had plans to fix that had I been on the sponsorship money I was on beginning of last season, will have to wait another season for that. Brilliant is slightly expensive but he's pretty close to a magical I'd say comparing skills between my brilliant and magical and is perfect for training needs.

club: Devil`s Angels United, country: Australia
brilliant coach

incredible of stamina formidable of keeper
unearthly of pace magical of defender
brilliant of technique unearthly of playmaker
magical of passing incredible of striker
Achmid [del] tosx890410 [del]
very nice wage for that brilliant
And that's it, you may not get the main coach you want, but normally you still get some nice other coaches out of it.
I think most of the big teams have spent a couple of million as a cumulative total just looking for coaches of a decent price

What is the benefit of having a higher general rating for the Head coach? I thought it was only important in the skill that you're training. Isn't it more important to have a higher general rating for the Junior and Asst coaches?
I have a weak Head coach as I only try to get the highest skill possible in the skill I'm training, if I change training I change my Head coach to suit.
That's the way I read it in the rules, am I wrong?
My coaching set up
Head Coach
Weak - Stamina Unearthly $9680
Asst coaches
Excellent $13240
Excellent $9480
Excellent $12320
Junior coach
Jason Walker, age: 46
wage: 49 040 AU$
club: Snappa Serpents, country: Australia
brilliant coach
Training effectiveness:
very good of stamina outstanding of keeper
brilliant of pace unearthly of defender
unearthly of technique brilliant of playmaker
unearthly of passing incredible of striker
Sriram [del] tosnappa [del]
General training in the skills other than the one you're mainly training, which leads to quicker "random" pops, which means they're not really random at all.
trouto [del] toSriram [del]
So what your saying is that for a head coach, it IS important to have a well-rounded skilled coach?
Minkee [del] totrouto [del]
That's how I interpreted the rules too... and I believe I've got the best of both world with my coach.
My main coach is only Incredible but that's his skills:
unearthly of stamina unsatisfactory of keeper
unearthly of pace incredible of defender
unearthly of technique unearthly of playmaker
unearthly of passing magical of striker
He's a lot cheaper than anything above Incredible and does the job just as well, except for GK... but who trains GK anyway?!
On the other hand I've choosen my assistants and my junior coach according to their general appraisal as the rules were suggesting...
Achmid [del] toMinkee [del]
The most important thing for a head coach is to have magical or unearthly in the skill you are training. And with everything else very low, this will only set you back about 10k. This is why this option is great for new teams.
As you start to get more money, it becomes more important to have a rounded coach (still with the skill you are training at magical/unearthy) as it increases the number of "random" pops you get. In other words, for skills you arent training, your players will get about 0.01% training (only my opinion, nothing else) and if you get a nicely rounded unearthly coach, I believe that figure gets closer to 0.03%. As you can see not a huge difference.
As far as getting a cheap head coach, the general trend I have noticed is a chach with high stamina seems to cost less in wage but adds the same amount to the general apraisal, and a coach with high keeper costs more, but still only adds the same amount to the general appraisal
