About
The Sturbridge Porterhouse restaurant is highly regarded, with exceptional service and an incredible dining experience. The server named Patrick suggested the Red Blend wine, which was superbly paired with their recommended Hanger steak. The bernaise sauce may be a personal preference, as some might prefer it on the side or directly on the steak. The au gratin potatoes were outstanding and praised as the best ever tasted.
Why you should go
- Indulge in perfectly cooked steaks like the bone-in rib eye and NY Sirloin
- Enjoy generous portions of delectable dishes including Hanger steak and au gratin potatoes
- Experience a charming atmosphere with friendly service

Worth every dollar. Staff and service were attentive....We were not rushed through our meal. This restaurant is not an average steakhouse. I recommend trying the 28 day dry aged bone-in rib eye. There's nothing like it.
Please don't go there. It was my husband and I 1st time going, and we WON'T EVER BE BACK. WE order the Pretzel with cheese. Well, THANK GOD I look at Pretzel 1st. It has MOLD. My husband ordered the SteakTip Bruschetta, and the steak was all FAT and BURNT. The manager came over and wasn't going to charge us, but we paid 100.00 for the steak tip appetizer and 2 drinks each. The drinks weren't what we order and the juice was Not GOOD. WE BOTH GOT VERY SICK. SAVE YOUR MONEY.WILL BE CALLING BOARD OF HEALTH MONDAY MORNING.
This place was awesome.!New York Sirloin melted in n my mouth and cooked perfectly. Potatoes mashed very good. Green beans good. Grilled shrimp delicious. Staff was young who ch was refreshing. They did a good job working as a team.

we went here for our wedding anniversary, food was decicious, awesome waiter. Pricey but worth it :)
Excellent on all counts, from server to atmosphere to food. In town for a NYE wedding, we wanted to enjoy dinner after an almost 5 hr drive and hotel check-in on Dec. 30. We called ahead, about 90 min. and the hostess fit us in at a small table for two. Sturbridge Porterhouse rivaled the best meals we have had. Shocked to find no porterhouse on the menu though! 😊
